Hamilton Woods Associates are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Coordinator to act as the main point of contact with suppliers, customer resolutions and trades to answer queries and meet business objectives.

Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Coordinator:

  • Act as the main point of contact for suppliers, customer services, supervisors and trades teams, responding to queries and coordinating communication.
  • Raise and process purchase orders, ensuring materials and equipment are ordered for timely delivery.
  • Process invoices accurately, ensuring coding and spend commitments match company procedures.
  • Coordinate planned works, ensuring materials are available for scheduled appointments.
  • Schedule and manage drivers for material deliveries and waste collections.
  • Manage van stock, tools, plant and equipment, including stock replenishment and accurate record keeping.
  • Carry out stock checks and stock takes, identifying surplus items and maintaining appropriate stock levels.
  • Monitor purchasing activity to ensure orders are accurate, cost-effective and deliver value for money.
  • Arrange the transfer of material costs for cancelled or completed jobs.
  • Work with Digital and Transformation teams to support and improve operational systems.
  • Provide expert advice to customer service teams, helping resolve queries at the first point of contact.

Essential Experience of the Supply Chain Coordinator:

  • Basic DBS
